Most people accept that earning money is required in order to survive. For some, like Mike“Tate” Tetreault, the goal was never to simply survive, but to flourish. For as long as he could remember Mike had a vision for what his life would look like and he knew he would not stop until he achieved that vision. He understood the best way to do this was to create multiple flows
of income.
Tate chose to utilize the vehicle of real estate to create these income flows. He understood that working in real estate would allow him to earn with no limits. Mike Terteault started the journey to creating his vision by adopting a mindset of abundance and personal accountability. The idea that he could earn as much as he was willing to work for excited him and inspired him to view his losses and lessons on the way to achieving his dream.
Tate developed world class negotiation and management skills, which allowed him to earn income from multiple different types of real estate transactions. From residential buyers and sellers, to first-time buyers, as well as 1031 exchanges and land transactions, Mike always focused on making sure to put the client experience at the forefront of the interactions. “So many people suck up to everyone else and do things by the book, I’d rather write my own book”, says Mike.
Tate has never been a stranger to adversity. When he was 19 he was able to overcome a felony gun charge and at the age of 22 he suffered a severe neck injury. He credits all of this adversity to instilling a bulletproof mindset founded in the belief that vision and perseverance can overcome any obstacle. He says “Fear is used against us to prevent us from where we should really be. Don’t base your life around fear. If something bad happens in your life, you either deal with it or you don’t. The ones who deal with it best keep going.”
Tate’s steadfast commitment to his vision has allowed him to become Boston’s “Real Estate Kingpin”. He has learned to stay humble and hungry by continuing to celebrate the small victories and not forgetting where he came from. He loves adding value to others while helping them achieve their vision as he did.
